With new movie “Celeste and Jesse Forever,” Rashida Jones is saying goodbye to the best friend roles she normally plays. Co-writing the script with Will McCormack, Jones stars as Celeste, who gets messy while divorcing her best friend (played by Andy Samberg). Jones sits down with Back Stage to discuss making the movie, and her early difficulties in getting cast in anything thanks to her unusual look.

We also speak to FX’s new addition W. Kamau Bell about his late-night show “Totally Biased,” and take our best, most scientific guesses at who will end up taking home the Emmy gold at the Sept. 23 ceremony.

For all these stories and more, pick up a copy of Back Stage, on newsstands Aug. 9. And visit our website throughout the week for even more!
