Classic Cinemas' Tivoli and Lindo Theatres win annual awards

May 30, 2014

Classic Cinemas’ Tivoli and Lindo Theatres were once again recognized with awards voted on by readers of West Suburban Living and the Journal Standard.

The readers of West Suburban Living chose more than 85 suburban superlatives, and the Tivoli Theatre in downtown Downers Grove, IL, took home the title of “Best Movie Theatre 2014” in the western suburbs for the seventh consecutive year. The 1928 Tivoli was the first theatre operated by Classic Cinemas when the circuit was founded in 1978.

Meanwhile, readers of the Journal Standard voted Classic Cinemas’ Lindo Theatre in Freeport, IL, as “Best Family Entertainment 2014,” the 18th consecutive year the theatre has received the award.
