Regal Cinemas will expand its existing facility in Syracuse, NY,
into Destiny USA, a new 2.4-million-square-foot destination that
includes Carousel Center, a vast regional shopping center already
attracting 20 million annual visits.
The expansion will include two new auditoriums, a Regal Premium
Experience (RPX) giant screen and an IMAX theatre screen. When
completed later this year, Regal Destiny USA Stadium 19 IMAX &
RPX will encompass more than 3,400 seats.
Regal’s RPX screens feature all-digital projection, surround sound,
a giant screen and stadium seating.
“The addition of both an IMAX and RPX giant-screen presentation to
our already successful Regal Cinemas will give our patrons even
more great entertainment choices,” said Dick Westerling, senior VP
of marketing at Regal Entertainment Group. “Destiny USA is a
remarkable venue and our cinema experience will be second to
none.”
Regal is part of a growing list of entertainment brands who are
calling the third floor of Destiny USA home, including Revolutions,
Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill, and AJA.
