'Good Day to Die Hard' gets Atmos boost

Twentieth Century Fox confirmed that their Valentine’s Day 2013 action sequel A Good Day to Die Hard will be the studio’s fourth major release in the immersive Dolby Atmos audio format following Taken 2, Chasing Mavericks, and Ang Lee’s Life of Pi.

The fifth installment of the Die Hard franchise is being mixed in Dolby Atmos in the Zanuck Theatre post-production facility on the Fox lot.

Additionally, two new international films, the Germany mystery-thriller Lost Place and the British crime thriller Trance, will be mixed and released in Dolby Atmos. Trance will be released domestically by Fox Searchlight.
