Hollywood Chamber of Commerce hosts Awards Media Center

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will host its 10th annual Awards Media Center on Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for local, national and international members of the media who will be covering the Academy Awards.

Presenting sponsor L’Oréal Paris will have professional make-up artists on hand offering touch-ups and instruction on creating a glamorous red-carpet look. Food, beverages and information on Hollywood and the entertainment industry will be available for media showing their AMPAS credentials.

The Hollywood Chamber’s Awards Media Center will also feature exhibits from:

* TCL Chinese Theatre, home to hundreds of movie premieres throughout the history of Hollywood.
* Pink’s Hot Dogs, a Hollywood legend since 1939 known as “Hot Dogs to the Stars.”
* The Hollywood Museum at the Max Factor Building, which showcases an extensive collection of Hollywood movie memorabilia.
* The Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau, which will have their team on hand to guide the media on where to eat, where to stay, and provide information on events happening in Hollywood and the Los Angeles area.

Additional sponsors of the Awards Media Center that will exhibit and/or offer samples include Village Pizzeria, Carmex, exhale mind body spa, Gilmore Bank, Hollywood Half Marathon, Hollywood & Highland, Madame Tussauds, MediaMine, Vanity Fair and Variety.
