D-Box Announces Latest Films

Since the first theatre launch in April 2009, D-Box has steadily increased its presence throughout the U.S. and Canada, with more than 20 theatres featuring D-BOX motion-enhanced seats. D-Box recently announced its first location in Asia, a state-of-the-art multiplex by Warner Mycal Cinemas Ohdaka in Nagoya, Japan, scheduled to open March 23.
D-Box Motion Code is embedded onto films frame by frame in order to create refined, real-time motion effects. D-Box MFX seats feature intensity adjustments that can be increased or decreased depending on preference.
Major movie studios supporting D-BOX include Warner Bros. (with 6 movies), Universal Pictures, Sony, Lionsgate and Disney. Movie theatre companies supporting D-BOX include Cineplex, Mann Theatres, UltraStar Cinemas, Santikos Theatres and Galaxy Theatres.
