Benning to build 10-plex for Georgia Theatres

The 2,000-seat Houston Lakes Stadium Cinemas will be 30,000 square feet and feature digital projection, stadium seating and state-of-the-art sound. It will be completed in May.
For more than 50 years, Benning Construction Company has built movie theatres, auditoriums and entertainment complexes across 12 states, including the historic Plaza Theatre on Ponce de Leon Avenue, Atlanta’s oldest cinema.
St. Simons Island-based Georgia Theatre Company is one of the 20 largest theatre circuits in the United States. GTC operates 272 auditoriums at 27 locations in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Virginia.
