The Muviville Entertainment Complex

Paragon Entertainment, LLC, a Muvico Entertainment, LLC affiliate company, and Splitsville Luxury Lanes and Dinner Lounge announced a joint venture to bring a premium entertainment center to Spotsylvania Towne Centre in Fredericksburg, VA. The center will consist of a 12-screen, all-stadium-seat theatre with approximately 2,000 seats including 300 Premier VIP seats, 16 lanes of bowling, 250 dining seats, upscale bars, a dance floor and a full-service kitchen featuring fresh-rolled sushi, hand-tossed pizzas, gourmet appetizers and signature entrées including Mahi Mahi with Voodoo Shrimp and Filet Mignon with Horseradish Cream.

Construction is scheduled to commence this spring with an opening slated for later this year. The new entertainment center will be situated south of The Village at Spotsylvania Towne Centre, which is now opening with approximately 250 feet of frontage on I-95.

The “Muviville Entertainment Complex” will offer guest services including valet parking, online ticketing, reserve seating and lane reservations and bowling concierge. An expanded concession menu will feature traditional moviegoing fare along with pizza, sliders and sushi from the Splitsville menu. The cinemas will offer Sony 4K digital projection, allowing for the broadcasting of concerts and sporting events in selected auditoriums as well as 3D presentations.

Three of the auditoriums will be designated for Muvico’s signature Premier experience. Guests ages 21 years and older can enjoy an adults-only environment that consists of reserved seating, oversized love seats, complimentary valet parking, free popcorn and a VIP lounge.

“We’re reinventing bowling for America,” says Splitsville co-founder Guy Revelle. “From bowling and dinner to drinks, music and dancing, Splitsville gives people permission to have fun—with or without picking up a bowling ball… We believed that a restaurant concept focused on quality food and beverage and stringent service standards, with the addition of bowling lanes overlaid in a unique fashion, would result in a dramatic entertainment destination.”

Splitsville’s menu was created by Tim Cushman, founder of Boston’s Oya’ Restaurant, who was named one of Food & Wine magazine’s 2008 “Best New Chefs.” Splitsville also enlisted the talents of Kamehachi, a third-generation sushi house which has been named “Best Sushi Restaurant in Chicago” three times.

Muvico Theaters, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, currently operates 14 theaters with 259 screens in Florida, Maryland, Illinois and California, with 100 additional screens in various stages of development. Splitsville, based in Tampa, FL, currently operates three locations in Florida and Texas.
