MovieTickets.com signs up Studio Movie Grill

June 20, 2014

MovieTickets.com signed the 181-screen Studio Movie Grill chain based in Dallas, TX.  Studio Movie Grill is a leader in the in-theatre dining segment.

Founded by Brian Schultz, the Studio Movie Grill currently has 17 locations in seven states with a great deal of expansion planned for the near future, including their first Florida location, a 14-screen complex in Tampa, slated to open later this year. Their eclectic facilities feature all reserved seating, lobby bars, state-of-the-art projection and sound, and full service food and drink options.

Joel Cohen, CEO of MovieTickets.com, stated, “Adding the fast-growing national circuit Studio Movie Grill to our ticketing platforms is valuable to our company. SMG's ideas on innovating the ‘dinner and a movie’ concept have been cutting-edge. Their theatres are of particular high value in terms of advance ticket demand because they feature all reserved seating, high concept, and operate in densely populated metropolitan areas.”
