GDC SX-2000A server passes DCI tests

GDC Technology announced that its SX-2000A Digital Cinema Server with Integrated Media Block (IMB) successfully passed the full range of tests required by the Compliance Test Plan for the DCI Digital Cinema System Specification (DCSS). Conducted by Keio University under the license of Digital Cinema Initiatives, LLC, the tests confirmed that the SX-2000A has fully met DCSS requirements for technical performance, content security and quality control.

The SX-2000A server seamlessly integrates with Series 2 DLP Cinema® projectors. A simple software upgrade path is available to existing owners of SX-2000A for a smooth transition to satisfy DCI Cinema System Specification Version 1.2.
