Barco surpasses 1,300 Chinese d-cinema installations in 2009

Barco announced it deployed more than 1,300 digital-cinema projectors this year across Greater China. Key customers include China's most prominent players in digital cinema such as the China Film Group, Stellar Megamedia and Heng Dian, who all selected from Barco’s portfolio of 0.98” and 1.2” DMD platforms.

“We are pleased to maintain our leading position in the digital-cinema industry in the Asia Pacific Region, particularly in Greater China,” says Frank Christiaens, president of Barco for Greater China.
