XDC to provide digital services for Rising Alternative content

Sept 3, 2010

Leading European digital-cinema company XDC signed a cooperation agreement with Rising Alternative, a new pan-European alternative-content distribution company, to provide digital mastering and distribution logistical services for their alternative-content programs in Europe.

The programs, including the HD broadcasts from Milan's Teatro Alla Scala, the Salzburg Festival and the San Francisco Opera, represented and distributed by Rising Alternative, will now be digitally processed by the XDC Digital Content Lab.

“We are very proud to have been selected by Rising Alternative as its technology partner in continental Europe,” said Alexandre Weiser, XDC content services sales director. “This results from our successful track record for three years with Emerging Pictures with over 35 digital titles processed by XDC Digital Content Lab.”
