Russia's Cinema Park to install 200 RealD screens

Leading Russian cinema circuit Cinema Park will equip up to 200 screens with RealD 3D technology. Installations have already begun and should be completed within five years.
 
The companies also plan to install a “LUXE: A RealD Experience” Premium Large Format (PLF) auditorium at Cinema Park’s Grand Canyon theatre location in St. Petersburg. Featuring a floor-to-ceiling RealD Precision White Screen, the auditorium is expected to open during the winter of 2013.

Russia’s Karo Cinemas also plans to install 10 “LUXE: A RealD Experience” auditoriums in in key Russian markets. Locations in Moscow and St Petersburg are expected to open this winter.
