Jogchem's Theaters B.V. (JT Bioscopen), one of the leading
exhibitors in The Netherlands, and leading European digital-cinema
company XDC agreed on the deployment of DCI-compliant
digital-cinema systems in all 60 of JT's screens in The
Netherlands. The rollout, co-financed through the virtual print fee
model, is scheduled to begin early this year.
J.M. Punt, president of JT Bioscopen, stated, "Over the last three
years, we have tested and learned how to use digital cinema in a
professional way. Now we are ready for the next step. JT Bioscopen
is going for 100% digital screens including a majority of
high-quality 3D double-projection systems. XDC seems clearly to be
the appropriate partner for this ambitious plan.”
JT Bioscopen will exclusively install Series 2 DCI-compliant
digital projection systems and implement a fully integrated and
networked solution in each complex, using XDC's advanced Theatre
Management System and Central Library, the XDC's CineStore® Plaza.
All the systems will be connected to XDC's Network Operations
Centre, which will perform hotline support and preventative remote
maintenance.

Jogchem's Theaters B.V.
