GDC Technology announced that it will deploy another 100 GDC
SA-2100A servers for Guangzhou-based Jinyi Zhujiang Movie Circuit
Co., Ltd., the sixth largest exhibitor in China. This project is a
sequel to a 2009 order of 100 units.
Jinyi was founded as a joint venture between Jiayu Group and
Guangzhou Cinema Chain, specializing in the business of premier
cinemas in China. “We began working with GDC in 2005 when we first
embarked on our digital conversion,” said Xu Binbiao, general
manager of Jinyi. “Its caring and immediate response to customer
problems have also been very reassuring to us throughout the
project.”
GDC Technology is a subsidiary of the Hong Kong publicly listed
Global Digital Creations Holdings Ltd. GDC is currently the largest
supplier of cinema servers throughout Asia and the second largest
provider of cinema servers worldwide, serving its customers through
offices in the U.S., Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
