GDC Technology honored at International Business Awards

Aug 23, 2013

Leading digital-cinema company GDC Technology was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award as “Company of the Year for Manufacturing” and a Silver Stevie® Award in recognition of the “Best New Product or Service of the Year in Business to Business Products” at the 10th annual International Business Awards.

The International Business Awards is the world’s premier business awards program. Individuals and organizations across the world are eligible to submit nominations, resulting in more than 3,300 nominations. The 2013 International Business Awards program received entries from more than 50 countries.

GDC was hailed for its innovation of digital-cinema products, namely the SX-3000 Integrated Media Block and the PSD-3000 Portable Storage Device.

Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 250 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year. Judging criteria are based on the overall quality of each entry and the merits of the claims to innovation, integrity and growth, as well as other factors, relative to the judges' experience.

“We are proud to have received both a Gold and a Silver Stevie Award for our achievements in two very crucial and highly competitive categories,” said Dr. Man-Nang Chong, founder and CEO of GDC Technology. “This is the first time that these Stevie Awards have been awarded to a digital-cinema product manufacturer, in recognition of GDC’s efforts in designing and producing innovative digital-cinema products. Our product design team is honored and the awards further encourage us to continue developing state-of-the-art products.”
