Moving iMage Technologies
Is your digital-cinema investment protected? Moving iMage Technologies introduces the IS-303 Phase Spike Arrestor. The IS-30 is an AC power spike arrestor, line filter and power conditioner that has been designed by MiT’s engineers specifically to protect digital projectors and other cinema electronics. It consists of spike and surge-protection components combined with a rugged, industrial-grade three-phase EMI/RFI filter, in a unique circuit arrangement that protects and absorbs spikes and surges line-to-ground as well as line-to-line. The unit includes a counter display to indicate how many power spikes and surges have been absorbed. It also includes LEDs that indicate the status of all three AC phases. The unit has been designed to withstand and absorb severe spikes and surges, including those from nearby lightning strikes. In the unlikely event of a direct, catastrophic lightning strike to the theatre that damages components within the IS-30, the unit incorporates a “bypass” switch that shunts the AC input directly to the output, to get the show back onscreen quickly. The IS-30 features 250VAC or 440VAC 3-phase operation; current rating of 30 amps per phase continuous; and is 2-RU rack mountable. Learn more at booth 213. www.movingimagetech.com
