Poblocki introduces LEED interpretative displays
Aug 16, 2010
LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized green building certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. Poblocki’s LEED interpretive displays, made mainly from eco-friendly materials, allow organizations to earn one point toward this certification for providing an innovative form of education knowledge about their LEED building process.
Each display is custom-made. Digital screens, recyclable aluminum, LED lights and other eco-friendly technology are all available, depending upon a company’s needs. Poblocki’s senior designers who are familiar with the LEED certification process also offer assistance in content development and layout of the educational system in the interpretive display.
LEED certification is based on a point system with four different levels: certified, silver, gold and platinum. Available points are distributed into categories: sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environment quality, and innovation and design process.
