The grand theatre at Nordisk Film Kino’s Colosseum Cinema in Oslo, Norway has undergone a major refurbishment. The theatre has been stripped and given a dramatic new look, including new recliner chairs, rows with luxurious armchairs, a new laser projector and Europe's largest Ultimate Screen powered by RealD.

“Colosseum Cinema has repeatedly been placed on the top-ten lists of the world’s most beautiful cinemas, and many Norwegians have a special relationship with the cinema's largest theatre, the largest auditorium in Norway,” said Nordisk Film Kino CEO Jannicke Haugen.“Cinemagoers describe the combination of the screen with the spectacular dome above as an experience in itself, and have given clear feedback that this is Norway’s best movie theatre. Well, now it’s getting even better.”

“RealD are thrilled to launch Europe's largest Ultimate Screen in partnership with Nordisk at the Oslo Colosseum, giving customers unparalleled 3D visuals with brighter and sharper images for a fully immersive cinema experience,” said Roger Harris, managing director of RealD Europe.
