UNITIA names Franz Kober as new president
UNITIA (the United Theatre Integrators Association) announced the nomination of a new president and welcomed two new members during their annual seminar held in Paris last month.
According to the bylaws of UNITIA, the president is nominated for a period of two years. Former president Jean-Noel Fagot, president of Cine Digital Service (France), handed over the presidency to Franz Kober of Cine Project (Germany).
“The main focus for the coming years will be to join forces to meet the demands of a quickly developing and changing market,” Kober said. “New business models and strategies are emerging to meet the upcoming challenges. And this can only happen if we keep on standing united!”
The Association added two new members, Delta Bilgi (Turkey) and Art Sound K-ACK Group (Russia). Both are important cinema integrators in their countries.
UNITIA was founded in June 2015 by Cine Digital Service, Kelonik Group and Cine Project to bring the services of highly skilled technology integrators to cinema exhibitors. Today, UNITIA gathers 10 leading cinema integrators operating in more than countries and servicing 11,000+ digital screens.
