Cineplex Media and Unique X announce Canadian rollout
Unique X announced its continued expansion into the North American cinema market with an agreement to provide its autonomous digital cinema systems to one of Canada’s largest entertainment and media companies, Cineplex.
The combination of Unique X’s RosettaBridge TMS, RosettaNet eTMS, Movie Transit DCP delivery network and Advertising Accord onscreen advertising manager will deliver a fully automated, networked advertising solution to Cineplex’s network of 165 theatres from coast-to-coast. It will also be offered to the company’s exhibitor partners and independent theatres represented by Cineplex Media, its business division dedicated to media sales, engagement and advertising solutions.
Cineplex is Canada’s largest film exhibitor, welcoming more than 70 million guests annually. The new agreement with Unique X will enable the creation of custom advertising packages, automating the cinema advertising process and delivering ad content directly to the screen.
