AMC Theatres announced the seventh edition of its AMC Best Picture ShowcaseSM. Since 2007, the circuit has offered its guests the opportunity to see every movie nominated for Best Picture by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for one discounted price.

The nine Best Picture nominees will be shown on Saturday, Feb. 16, and Saturday, Feb. 23, at more than 100 theatres in nearly every AMC market in the United States. Plus, 12 select theatres will host a Best Picture movie marathon where guests can watch all nine movies in a row.

"This has become a must-attend event for movie lovers around the country," declares Stephen Colanero, executive VP and chief marketing officer at AMC. "Whether it's to see them all for the first time, or to see them again in preparation for the Oscars, the AMC Best Picture Showcase has become a tradition for many of our guests who enjoy seeing all of the Best Picture nominees the way they were intended—on the big screen surrounded by movie aficionados."

Two-day passes and marathon passes are $60; one-day passes are $30 for the four films on Feb. 16 and $40 for the five shown on Feb. 23. The nominees are Amour, Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained, Les Misérables, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook and Zero Dark Thirty.
