Paragon 10-plex to anchor Davenport, FL mall
Florida-based Paragon Theaters announced plans to begin construction on a 10-screen luxury theatre at Posner Commons in Davenport, Florida, at the prominent corner of I-4 and US 27. The theatre will be the entertainment anchor for this 630,000-square-foot regional shopping center that includes tenants such as Target, Dick's Sporting Goods and Best Buy.
"We are very excited to have Paragon join us at Posner Commons, as they bring a long-anticipated entertainment component to the project's tenant lineup that will serve the Central Florida customer base well for many years to come," said Larry Pantlin, on behalf of the Trammell Crow Company as owners of the project.
A summer 2014 opening is anticipated.
The Paragon Posner Commons movie theatre will feature leather VIP reclining seats with tray tables and footrests, digital projection and sound, online reserved seating, expanded concession offerings including beer and wine, and an outdoor patio seating area.
Founded in 2009 by the former executive management team of Muvico Theaters, Paragon is majority-owned by Mexico’s Cinepolis, the fourth-largest theatre circuit in the world.
