Screenvision hires two Viacom veterans as account execs
Leading cinema-advertising company Screenvision is bolstering its national sales team with the addition of two new account executives, Viacom veterans Bill Robinson and Lauren Treinen. Both executives will work under the direction of chief revenue officer Jim Tricarico, who recently joined the company after 12 years heading ad sales for Nickelodeon.
Robinson comes to Screenvision with 16 years of experience in advertising sales. Prior to joining the company, he held the title of senior account manager at Viacom, where he sold MTV and VH1. Robinson was the top billing salesman at MTV from 2003 to 2006, and supervised many of the network’s largest accounts, including Coca-Cola, Sony Pictures and Johnson & Johnson. He has also sold some of the largest events in all of cable and network television, including the Summer and Winter Olympics, the Super Bowl and Sunday Night Football, all during his six-year tenure at NBC Universal as the senior account executive at NBC Sports. During this time, he also executed the closing of multi-year, multi-platform and multi-sport deals with Papa John’s, Anheuser Busch, BMW and DirecTV.
Prior to joining Screenvision, Lauren Treinen spent six years working in national sales and marketing with Viacom’s Nickelodeon Kids & Family Group, under the direction of Tricarico. While at Nickelodeon, she sold customized marketing partnerships, leveraging all business units including content, recreation, digital properties and linear works. She also worked on top billing accounts, including Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Mattel, and sold multi-platform partnerships in the annual Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards in 2011 and 2012.
