Arts Alliance merges event cinema businesses
Arts Alliance Ventures will merge its existing cinema content businesses into a single integrated company to capitalize on the growing global market for event cinema.
The move will consolidate Arts Alliance’s position as a leading financier, distributor and marketer of event cinema worldwide. Operating under the consumer-facing brand of Arts Alliance, the new business will absorb the successful music and arts-focused production and production finance company Mr Wolf Presents, as well as incorporating the existing cinema booking, content distribution and marketing services operation which previously sat inside sister company and leading cinema software company Arts Alliance Media.
Mark Foster has been appointed CEO of the new business. He comes to Arts Alliance from on-demand music-streaming service Deezer, where he was managing director of the U.K. and Ireland. All the current event cinema team members from both Mr Wolf and AAM will transition into the new business and further appointments will be made over the coming weeks.
